A Personal Appeal From Wikipedia Founder

A Personal Appeal From Wikipedia Founder Jimmy Wales”

This is the welcome message to the New Year of the founder (or co-founder?) of Wikipedia.

The unique style piece contains some point especially struggled, with this:

<<Like a national park or a school, we don’t believe advertising should have a place in Wikipedia.
We want to keep it free and strong, but we need the support of thousands of people like you.>> (sic)

In this message, to start the year this founder (or cou-fonder?) of the wikipedia invites us to make a donation to the wikipedia.
Otherwise, if you do not get enough money from donations, insinuated between the lines, there will be ads on Wikipedia …
Does anyone doubted?

Congratulations Wikipedia, that’s start the year!

  1. It’s “CO-founder”. Definitely co-founder. That the money plea came encased in the Big Lie that Jimbo is the sole “founder” should give pause to anyone who donated. $472,000 budgeted for the Director and Deputy boy-wonder? $130,000 budgeted for a supposedly unpaid Board of Trustees?

It’s like people WANT to be duped. That’s Wikipedia for you.

  2. Well, no for me. I know Mr Jimbo. I search on my pc for some “educational” link regarding it…
