Introduction to the history of Web 2.0

The opportunities for a golden age in education
are breathtaking; there has never been a more
exciting time to be in this field. Our challenge goes
beyond making sense of what the possibilities
are, though, to marshalling the will and means
to hasten the promise of these changes.

We have started our investigation tracing the origin of the label “Web 2.0″.
In this process we want to emphasize, first, how events are happening so fast in a way that virtually no time to rennet a formal bibliography, but that information is flowing and changing rapidly in a way that is possible only continue through the Webliography, an extension of the traditional concept of bilbiografía, particularly imperative today to address these issues.
As note that it endorses, we can point to the detail of that, sometimes, some working capital on this or that aspect carried out by a recognized authority in the matter, referring mayoritariamwente-or even exclusively-a Webliography. This also proves the reality of a world in flux, a change that affects many aspects to this as directly related to education.
The so-called “Web 2.0″: myth or reality?
The concept: We could synthesize the issue of entry, saying that “Web 2.0″ is a label born in 2002 (perhaps even before), which was appointed with great opportunity, and also with a good dose of opportunism – technological developments to that at some point, the Internet was coming, and whose success was due to the prestige and the enterprising efforts of their drivers.
What has really under the label affects the credibility of the whole concept 2.0, including the alleged education 2.0. We begin by investigating the origins of the label, because it is very revealing about the nature of the concept of web2.0.
For this story of Web 2.0, we look back a few years ago most of what is done in our next message.
